It's true, in Sicily it's worse, but Lecce is in second place. Between the two options (I have fun or I act all high and mighty), 90% choose the second one. Better to act high and mighty than to be called a whore. Kristal, you know better than me... the stories in Salento are all "underground." The "official" ones that a girl can have are at most 3. After that, you're a whore. Just like the label on canned tomatoes, the same. In fact, you're right, there's a way to turn things in your favor. To pull a fast one. To declare yourself madly in love, in order to break down all the defenses and walls of bigotry, to then reach the goal... but I've never done it, and I never will. I hate careless people. Those who "let others live them." And it works exactly that way there. Not to mention the scum that hangs around the Merli, the Typographic. But as for those, it's pretty much the same all over Italy, I give you that.

Guys, feel free to say whatever you want, but I've formed my own opinion "in the field," not just from books. I've often paid for these "defects" on my own skin, you bet. I still believe that the Salentini are incredibly skilled at presenting themselves one way and behaving another. Kristal, you are a woman, and things are a bit different. You have a great time, especially in Lecce; as soon as you go out, there are 34 guys at your feet. And that's for a simple reason: you play hard to get.

Enè, I'm not referring to institutions, I'm referring to hypocrisy, falseness, the facade, being bigoted, the way certain parents educate. Typical things from Salento. Like frise.

I’m boring because you can’t understand... you haven’t lived 6 years in Salento, have you? So, dear Enea, the phrase you quote makes some sense, in my opinion (besides being clearly provocative). Then, if I say what I think, I come across as boring. It’s a vicious circle. Better a nonsense than being heavy. Kristal knows well what I’m referring to. If she’s an intelligent girl, having experienced university in Salento, she can draw her own conclusions about the mindset of certain people.

And then, don’t be so proud of SALENTINISMO as to confuse it with PUGLISM... I wouldn't take pride in the "culture" of Salento. But you know, everyone sees it their own way...

And then we always remember the negative aspects of tradition, the dark side of tradition: ignorance.

And then I find the Neapolitan neomelodic tradition better... that is... Tommy Riccio!

I still find this commercialization of Salento tradition to be cloying. It's a great way to make money and to hide the flaws behind a few dances. They've even come up with this sort of "Pizzica Tour." They've even exported it to China. And they dance...without knowing a damn thing about what it means. Oh well...

Alright, let’s just throw around some random grades then. 4 for these Calaiò, Caligola, whatever they’re called. Let’s give Klaus Schulze a 43! Come on....
And then enough with this tradition stuff, it’s too much.... it definitely works with the tourists. Well done, but then what?

Fidia, initially they were a much harsher Depeche Mode (legendary the single "Warzaw Ghetto"), then they became even more aggressive. Less brutal than Front 242 and less dark than Skinny Puppy (whose track "Assimilate" remains a milestone of the genre). Anyway, a good band, sometimes perhaps excessively "raw" in their sounds. But that's a matter of taste... Cheers!
