"It would be like saying you eat tortellini without caring about what’s inside. With poor words, you miss out on the best... " ---> I confirm! ;)

Unfathomable review for a complex and fascinating album... to listen to and listen to and listen to and listen to...

MASTERPIECE... We Disintegrate is my favorite... Warrel in a "theatrical" version is perfect!... I don't consider Heart Collector "fan service"... it’s definitely one of the most "catchy" and has a very radio-friendly chorus... but I don’t see those as negative things ;)

I would say NOT RECOMMENDED TO THE WHOLE WORLD...it's recorded nonsense (badly, on top of that)...embarrassing!
Dream Theater Systematic Chaos

I liked the album...we're not at the level of Scenes from a Memory and Images&Words, but it's good to listen to...it absolutely rocks live...but I'm still waiting for the third great DT album...will it come?...who knows!
Brian Eno Ambient 1: Music For Airports

Robert Wyatt's plan and Eno's genius... once I forgot to turn off the CD, I had gone to bed and thought "what is it that I haven't done?"... it was precisely TURNING OFF THE STEREO... the music had "hidden" in the environment!

I give 5 to the reviewer only because, I'm sure, he wrote all this just to provoke! And I like provocateurs ;)... but if he truly believes what he wrote, he has serious mental issues!

The review is too emphatic in my opinion... anyway, DSOTM is a piece of history... what I love the most about this album I grew up with are the SOUNDS... Alan Parson is not exactly some rookie ;)... perfect production! the tympani rejoice by just hitting Play... you can only fall in love with this album... and, for those who don't consider it heresy, a curiosity: Dream Theater performed it live... I recommend it... but take it for what it is: a humble tribute to this black monolith!
