Pierangelo Bertoli: S'at ven in meint
File Audio I have it ★★★
Entirely sung in Modenese dialect!
Pierangelo Bertoli: Frammenti
File Audio I have it ★★★
An album I've listened to a little but that contains "Così," Bertoli's manifesto.
Pierangelo Bertoli: Dalla finestra
File Audio I have it ★★★★
Great album. It has "Varsavia," "Il treno," and the beautiful "Maddalena."
Pino Daniele: Vai mò
Vinile I have it ★★★★★
Pure enjoyment. Fairy-tale band. Perhaps Pino's last album to feature all beautiful songs. Perhaps...

And where do we place “Bella ‘mbriana”? :) Pino didn’t miss a beat until ’85. Maybe “Musicante” and “Ferryboat” are just a millimeter lower, but really just a millimeter.
Premiata Forneria Marconi: Live in U.S.A.
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
The only band to have entered the album charts in the famous American magazine Billboard. They played pure energy and now they are old foxes who know all the secrets of prog. "Alta loma five till nine" drives me crazy. I love them, but when I hear Di Cioccio sing, I always think of Francesco Di Giacomo.
Radiodervish: Lingua Contro Lingua
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Italian-Palestinian group. Actually, Bari-Palestinian. An album full of sounds with Nabil, whose voice is warm and penetrating. When you listen to it, you travel without moving.
Radiodervish: Centro Del Mundo
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Double CD: unreleased tracks and acoustic live. "Centro del mundo" and "L'esigenza" above all.
Renzo Zenobi.: Telefono elettronico
Vinile I have it ★★★
Arranged by Lucio Dalla who sings in the title track. Tender Renzo.
A troubled Vecchioni released this beautiful album featuring the famous "Signor giudice," a spicy invective against the judiciary. And then the cover designed by Andrea Pazienza...

And it includes "the wizard and the player," not his best song, but gosh how I like it!
Samuele Bersani: Freak
File Audio I have it ★★★★
Young Bersani. Beautiful album where Dalla's presence is remarkable.

I've never liked the title track. It gets a bit lost among piadine from Romagna, the Doors, and slices of meat. The rest is fine, especially Spacca cuore.
Sergio Caputo: No smoking
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Sergio swingman.
Stadio: Siamo Tutti Elefanti Inventati
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Very interesting texts with excellent signatures: Ivano Fossati, Roberto Roversi, and Claudio Lolli. Nice album. Three solid stars.
Stadio: Stabiliamo Un Contatto
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Beautiful little disc where "Swatch" by Francesco Guccini stands out.

    A more convincing cover already
At times impenetrable, yet immense Vinicio.
Vinicio Capossela: Modì
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
The most beautiful album of the early period of Vinicio's career.

Is Camera a Sud not part of the first period?

I would say no because after "Modì" he waited 3 years for "Camera a sud." Beautiful as well, of course, but I get more excited with "Modì."

I must say that I loved Il ballo di San Vito and Camera a sud much more from the first period, although I do find Modì definitely more intriguing and original compared to the debut. And then everything (unfortunately) takes a backseat in front of works like Canzoni a manovella and Ovunque proteggi.
