Woe to anyone who touches me, Alex the Ram! The greatest masterpiece of WORLD cinematography. The whole stroller scene is a masterpiece of surrealism.

Well, everyone is talking (rightly so) about Alex l'Ariete.
But I would like to focus on a true PEARL, coming from Sardinia: "Primavera di granito." A masterpiece of priceless beauty. Oscar-worthy acting.
    CULT scene:
Antonello Venditti: Unica
File Audio I have it ★
a truly horrific album, a classic success delusion (like many recent albums by other contemporaneous "colleagues"). the previous "dalla pelle al cuore" was getting close to being a good album.
"from skin to heart" was coming close to being a good record. I don't know anything about this and I don't want to know.

Antonello Venditti: Buona Domenica
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
a little hat under the fish, but in the end not so much as many say. ah, and "modena" among the 5 best Italian songs of all time.
  • Martello
    5 aug 20
4 seems a bit much to me. It's true that there's Modena and Stai con me, but the rest... wavers quite a bit. Probably Antonello's most inconsistent album, with highs and lows... Kriminal and Buona domenica would be enough to give it 2 stars, while Modena alone would be enough for 5 stars.

even woman in a bottle, sorry I have to go and robin are nice tracks. happy Sunday in the end it's a little track, and yet grand.
  • Martello
    5 aug 20
Well, I find them indifferent, neither crap nor masterpieces. "Buone domenica" is a simple, historical, and engaging little song, for goodness' sake, but it's still just a little song.
a scream-worthy title track!......yes, for the fright it gives you the first time you listen to it. I won’t dare to give a rating, for certain works it’s better to just let it go.
"remember me," "21 ways to say I love you," "what a beautiful sunny day," "running running"... okay, nice tracks.
"in this world of thieves," "legendary love," "Cristina's birthday," "mirages"... let's not even go there.
Of course, compared to its direct predecessor (and everything that will come...) it becomes an absolute masterpiece, but in the end, it's an album like many others: nice, with several good/excellent tracks and a bunch of fillers... 3 stretched stars.

"Legendary love" is nauseating like few others, and "Cristina's birthday" is of an astonishing banality. I agree on the four "nice tracks," while the other two leave me completely indifferent, neither to exalt nor to denigrate.
  • Martello
    29 jul 20
BUT NO! Miraggi no, it was cute and even the title track wasn't bad!
  • Martello

And then @[Company], until recently you were saving Cristina and now, have you changed your mind? This can only get better.
  • Ditta
    29 jul 20
Well, yes... upon listening to it again, it's a little silly.
  • Martello
    29 jul 20
But in the end, a friend of mine told me this interesting thing, namely that "In questo mondo di ladri is a sequel album," and it really seems that way: Ricordati di me can be the sequel to Dimmelo tu cos'è, Il compleanno di Cristina to Sotto il segno dei pesci, In questo mondo di ladri to L'ottimista, Ma che bella giornata di sole to Sotto la pioggia, etc.
Fuck, if I'm supposed to be welcomed into paradise by someone singing this bullshit...

It may be that this is an album I'm very attached to, but I can't help but like it.. okay, there's the title track, there's "Dimmi che credi," there's "Raggio di luna" (which I've always found annoying), but there are also "Alta marea," "Noi," "In qualche parte del mondo," "Dolce Enrico"… overall, I would say that, aside from personal attachments, a 2.5 rounded up to 3 seems fair. Then it will be a zero across the board, except for 2 or 3 songs.

I obviously respect your opinions, but for me this album doesn't even deserve that single star. Same goes for all the subsequent ones. And "alta marea" was a horrifying cover.

Surely, better in heaven than in hell.
Purchased at the exit, listened to only yesterday after years and I must say that:
- Found 60% of it tedious, but it's not to be categorized as colossal crap.
- I found at least two tracks that are on par with the best Venditti, namely "Giuda" and "Tradimento e Perdono," two excellent gems.
Definitely better than the previous ones, I’d give it a (almost) 3 this time, it can even be gifted to 'ntunello.
same story of infinito by litfiba: I'm 100% sure that this album is just a product of my imagination.
it's mathematically impossible that someone didn't stop them from releasing 'stammmmmmerda. when years ago I first heard the single (what a treasure you are) I wanted to shoot myself in the balls.

Antonello Venditti: L'orso bruno

underrated, for me a wonderful album. The title track, "il mare di jan", "l'ingresso della fabbrica" and "l'uomo di pane" stand out above all. It would be 5 stars, not completely full, but who cares.

The songs are wonderful, but on the arrangement side, I just can't be convinced. It's practically a smoothie of Elton John's early albums (especially Madman Across the Water from 1971)... in my opinion, his golden period will begin with the subsequent Le Cose della Vita, and last until Sotto il Segno. From Buona Domenica to In Questo Mondo di Ladri a good singer-songwriter, with absolute peaks here and there (Modena and half of Sotto la Pioggia (album)), then something from Benvenuti in Paradiso, then complete nothingness. The only album from the last decade that seemed to me on the verge of decent is (don't shoot me) Che Fantastica Storia (2003), obviously excluding the duet with De Gregori and the horrendous Estate Rubino.

Mh. SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSno. What a fantastic story life is, it's less worse than the previous ones, but given that before there were the bitter fruit and Goodbye novecento, it could only get better... that doesn't change the fact that it's still a bad album. Then again, there were Unica and Tortuga that went back to those levels of crap...
Antonello Venditti: Le cose della vita
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
probably is, right after "lilly", the ultimate masterpiece of the sanguine Venditti, fighter and "furious". the title track sends chills down your spine every time you listen to it, just like "il treno delle sette" or "le tue mani su di me". MASTERPIECE

devastating..
But really, is this the same person who composed abominations like "benvenuti in paradiso" or "il frutto amaro"?
An obviously wonderful album, a milestone in Antonello's discography. On the notes of "campo de' fiori" and "figli del domani," a tear always falls.

the definitive tombstone. it would be 3.5 but I gladly give it the extra half point.
The intention is noble, the result...less so.
