Matteo Carmignoli: I caduti
Cartaceo I have it ★★★★★
A book that tells the story of a mysterious character who faces events on the edge of the surreal. A very dark tale, at times exasperatingly so, that tackles rather controversial and extreme themes, juxtaposing moments of almost abyssal despair with others of surprising and poetic romanticism. A narrative suspended between the real and the dreamy, so well mixed that it confuses even the reader, as well as the protagonist himself.
Matteo Carmignoli: La ragazza oltre il mare
Cartaceo I have it ★★★★★
A love story, but absolutely not trivial or predictable. A diary filled with truly admirable poetic glimpses and deep reflections. A book that, besides being undeniably enjoyable to read, also prompts introspection. It makes you reflect especially on the asymmetry of love and its superficiality in the modern era; moreover, it mercilessly reveals the gap between the world of dreams and the cruel reality (typical of the author). In any case, it is definitely a pleasant read that I could recommend for you to take under the beach umbrella this summer.

Unbelievable, I just read a post by one Matteo Carmignoli in a music Facebook group, and two seconds later I come in here and see this comment and find out it's the same person.
