I didn't want to find your definition beautiful. I just wanted to say that, in reality, there's a fucking lot of Wire here, and at most you could say "hidden peak of Newman's creativity."

Are you sure there's absolutely no trace of Wire? There's a song that could fit on Pink Flag like "But no," another song written together with my mate Graham, "pop" songs (see & Jury, Inventory) that would fit well in 154 or Chair Missing. Plus, the drummer is the same, and you can hear it. Let's say there are also songs exclusively branded Newman (maybe Troisieme?) that try to distance themselves from the former mates. So to say that there's nothing at all of Wire here is excessive... I'm glad this album isn't completely hidden away :)
