"...just energy, no frills... direct, simple, even naive, but genuine..." I quote this phrase taken from the review of misterNo, because it perfectly summarizes my thoughts on Saxon. I understand that for those who listen to more extreme, evolved, modern metal genres, Saxon might seem a bit too vintage, ancestral. But if you love classic old school heavy metal, for me they remain the best. And Wheels of Steel is one of their most representative albums.

    Yes, and let's add unique ones, you can listen to 200,000 of them, but not them, their sound and their vocalist will always remain "original heavy metal Saxon," like a brand that hits you without warning.
