To define it as Trash is, in my opinion, incorrect; trash is the irrational tackiness dumped by the tons in the face of the astonished viewer just to amaze them. The character of Ziggy Stardust might seem like this at first glance, but it's too well crafted, and there has been too much work behind it for it to be so. One of my favorite albums and, in my opinion, one of the most brilliant creations ever.

A dark and complex album, Nietsche, alienazion, follia, Aleister Crowley. Stylistically, it’s a fantastic hybrid of Hard Rock, Folk Rock, early traces of Glam, and experimentation. The Width of a Circle is fantastic, and not just that ...

Yeah, it’s really great. I stopped at 4 but it’s one of those very tight 4s. Great album, and since we were talking about it, Ronson here is amazing.
Eric Clapton: 461 Ocean Boulevard
Vinile I have it ★★★★
Great album, one of the few of Clapton's solo works that is truly above average. Leaving British Blues behind, "slowhand" adopts a style that owes much (or everything) to JJ Cale, with pleasant reggae-exotic influences.

A record I have never fully appreciated, maybe a bit too distracted, I prefer Vintage Violence and Music for the New Society.
L.A. Woman: The Doors

Blues-Acid Rock interpreted brilliantly and entwined among the coils of Ray Manzarek's wicked organ.
The irrational wickedness of King Ink at its peak for me, even though what comes after is no less...
Pere Ubu: The Modern Dance

Geniusly indefinable, I really don't know what to say... maybe it's also because I'm not an expert in the field.. great anyway.
He may have an boundless musical culture, he may be a superior being capable of understanding things unknown to us, but he has not grasped one fundamental thing: what a musician is.

I’ve never really understood Scaruffi; he certainly can’t have listened attentively and understood all these albums well. Some of his album definitions are astonishing and completely wrong...

Somewhere to mess around, they did a mathematical calculation on Scaruffi: the result is that even if he had only listened to music 24 hours a day, it is physically impossible for him to have listened to all those records he claims.

It's too easy to take shots at Scaruffi... by now we know it's also pointless to keep mentioning him...

Perhaps, for someone who cites a lot of data and almost no opinions (hardly any), it's not necessary to have listened to all the albums one hundred sixty-three times. There’s the Zanichelli dictionary (horrible), there’s Allmusic, there’s Ondarock, each one is garbage in its own way: you need to understand what kind of garbage you need. If you want someone to tell you whether an album is good/bad/pleasant/unpleasant, surely you shouldn’t turn to Piero. Piero is there to tell you whether an album is innovative/original/well-known/the same as a thousand others, etc. All things he himself says, huh.

The most frustrating thing about this man is that he expects one listen to uncover the essence of an album... but how is that even possible?
Spiritual, elevated, meditative, exalted, reflective, surreal: an unattainable peak, at least in this field (which one?).

I listened to some of your early works too. Much more electronic, in my opinion it's worth diving deeper into this.

The most beautiful album I have listened to in this 2014, now coming to an end... "in this field," the problem is that this album cannot fit into any category, music so pure (that encompasses Western sacred music, "mystical Eastern" elements, and psychedelia) I don't know of any... unfortunately...
Queen: Hot Space
CD Audio Not intrested ★
One of the ugliest, flabby, slovenly, vulgar, disgusting, deplorable records of all time (except for Under Pressure). All the fault of Maicol Gekson.
Queen: The Works
File Audio I have it ★★★
This is a bit redeemable, a few nice little songs, nothing more, except for Radio Ga Ga (which is an absolutely terrible song) and It's a Hard Life, which I really like, but maybe it's just the memories...

The great Queen existed from '73 to '77 for me. A series of masterpieces with the peak being "Queen II" in my opinion. They should have stopped from that point on, although I do save a few, like Innuendo.

I think the same way; the latest one is News Of The World, which I consider superior to the far more acclaimed A Night ... and A Day....
