they created their own grunge atmospheres that were still in vogue at the time to produce something that, as far as I can tell, wasn’t around. Listening chronologically to their albums from "leisure," through "parklife" and "great escape," up to this self-titled one, it seems to me that their music was the perfect soundtrack of my life from ages 15 to 20. As I grew, they grew too. Perhaps that's why I loved them so much.
