Air: Talkie Walkie
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
How to draw from the '80s without risking nostalgic blunders, adding just a hint of Nouvelle Vague in melancholic pocket dust, and the game is done. Over the years, it stands like an earthquake-resistant skyscraper fully compliant...with solidly delicate grace.
Almamegretta: 4/4
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
One of the very few great Italian albums of the last two decades.
Aphrodite's Child: End of the World
Vinile I have it ★★★★★
You should come with me to the end of the world, without telling your parents and your friends...running away like 68ers, today secrets are useless, these three already understood back then that immobility can only lead to ruin, and to not even having the gas pipe to cling to anymore.
Asia Minor: Between Flesh and Divine
Vinile I have it ★★★★★
A journey of romantic and melancholic transport, in the full style of French Progressive but with an eastern touch inherited from the Turkish origins of the compositional duo. Like the Pulsar destined only for oblivion, in the one mistake made: being released at the worst possible moment.

A masterpiece on par with "Halloween," which has had a second youth as a cult album. Today, if you try to click "Pulsar Halloween," you might come across phrases like "one of the ten best symphonic albums in the world." I also really love "Crossing The Line." A unique band (also for the particular geo-cultural background that you have perfectly highlighted).

At 20, a copy of Halloween kept appearing among the 1000 lira records in a now-defunct shop. I ended up buying it, and for years I didn't know anyone who had listened to it. The previous album, The Strand Of The Future, is also very nice, and if you like the genre, another record to have is the eponymous one by Aphelandra, a lost album released by Mellow almost 20 years later.
Atomic Rooster: Death Walks Behind You
Vinile I have it ★★★★★
Even John Cann has gone forever, and now the album title fits perfectly... but the masterpiece remains.
