Peter Green: The End of the Game
Vinile I have it ★★★★
The excess of psychedelia in this album, to the detriment of what Green does best, prevents me from giving it the highest score. But if only we had more like this...!

When I think of Phil Collins, the Phil Collins of the 70s, and then I come across this album, only one word comes to mind: SADNESS! Here he tries to be Mike Oldfield, but the result is a desolate total flatness.

True. Junk. However, more personal and "honest" compared to really disgraceful stuff like dance into the light or testify that I’m ashamed to have listened to...

True. When I take them back in hand and add them to the collection, they will get a 1.

Do good things. Don’t collect them, put them in the trash. Public service announcement :)

But no... I collect everything I find from the world of generis. And then it's nice to remember the mistakes you make.

I believe that at certain moments
the brain can no longer think
and runs to mad refuges
and doesn’t want to return
then I fall back to earth
and lightning and thunder explode
I don’t believe in peaceful life
I don’t believe in forgiveness

A controversial album for the Floyd fans themselves, loved and hated in equal measure, I find it to be a unique and unrepeatable album, with a shocking sound!

However, in the studio there is also "Grantchester Meadows," which elevates the whole thing. In general, I agree that as a studio album, it is the least beautiful of the Floyd from '67 to '71 (and perhaps even '77).

but this is an experimental album, intentionally, what were you expecting
  • hjhhjij

Nothing. But they had always done experimentation, and better. Here are the three of them throwing in the disc of their ideas, a bit out of boredom; some are remarkable, others less so. To my taste, anyway.

In the study, more than Grandchester Meadows, I would mention The Narrow Way and Sisiphius, truly remarkable in my opinion.
