Among the duke's top 5, the title track alone is worth the highest score for the album!

let's see if it's among the five...so: "Hunky Dory" "Ziggy" "Diamond Dogs" "Lodger", these are the first four...the fifth place is up for grabs with "Low" "Heroes" "The Man Who Sold the World" and "Outside"...

"Low" "Heroes" "Hunky Dory" and then I don't know, I'm not sure. Great album anyway :D

It may be a transitional album, but after the funeral for Ziggy, the production of Transformer and All the Young Dudes at Mott, I think I can say that some little ideas must have stuck with him!

No matter what some ideas say... For me, this is a solid 5! There's not a single track here that doesn't drive me crazy (except maybe the Stones cover, which has never excited me, the original is better, but the rest...!!)

I agree, although I have to say that it seems to me slightly less complex than the previous ones... but what a record!!

I quote @[Zimmy] five-star album for me too.

I adore it too (more than Ziggy, ahem...) no doubt about it, long live the transitions.

The umpteenth Bowie soul, an anomalous album in his discography, but stunningly beautiful! His voice is at its best.

Bowie rides the vanguard... electro-disco - anxious, captivating, with unsettling undercurrents. Beautiful!

one of the records of my life....eternally grateful mr Bowie!
David Bowie: David Live
Vinile I have it ★★★
Reinvented as the alien, Bowie transforms into an elegant entertainer with a new band and soul arrangements from across the ocean. Too many horns and too many choral overlaps, and Slick's guitar seems less impactful than the fantastic Ronson. As a first live performance, Bowie could have chosen better.

the Bowie that I like the least!

An album was built around two tracks, "Blue Jean" and "Loving the Alien." I don’t know if this one or the next is his worst album. It was a time of great commercial success, and he wanted to capitalize on that success; after so much critical acclaim and some commercial satisfaction, you can't blame him for that.

In fact, I don't blame him at all...I just say what I've said. And I'll throw in Let's Dance as well.

In fact, it was a general consideration, it was not referring to your comment.

    Sure sure... it was clear.
the film and its soundtrack (or Bowie’s greatest hits if you prefer!) are beautiful!
