Caravan: In the Land of Grey and Pink

Let’s dust off some mold. Sweet progressive-pop from the Canterbury school. I was listening to it again today. Even though it’s not among my favorites... great album!

Glad you like it because it’s one of my favorites. I’d call it Prog-Jazz-Pop.

Cool. Notifications for comments on definitions are coming in XD Getting back to us, yes, it had been centuries since I last listened to it. Really a beautiful album. Very refined.

And above all... without sounding excessively pompous and baroque. Two of the adjectives that make me run for the hills from 'certain' music ;-)

On the other hand, in Canterbury they hardly seemed excessively pompous and baroque; the problems in that sense were in other groups. They were refined, measured, and great composers, never excessive and always enjoyable. As mentioned, this album (and the one before it as well) has everything, one of my favorites even though I also haven't listened to it in a long, long time.

The sound of the guitar on this record is something unique to me. Beautiful, very romantic, and it truly feels like it came out of a fairy tale.
Cat Power: What would the community think

For me, the pinnacle of Chan is rivaled by the previous Myra Lee.
The last of the CCCP in theory, but in practice the first of the CSI. With Ringo De Palma keeping the rhythm in check, another great album from that band of lunatics.

Wonderful record, like the entire work of the group; I own it on double vinyl and it's always a pleasure, a sick pleasure, to listen to it... With that song, one of their most beautiful songs. There's no need to write the title... "Lasciami qui, lasciami stare, lasciami così. Non dire una parola che non sia d'amore." Great Silas, excellent choice for this abulic Saturday.
Christian Death: Only Theatre of Pain

Year 1982. A cornerstone of New Wave/Postpunk/Goth, whatever you want to call it. One of those albums I would take with me to the afterlife. Sublime despair...

The only one I like. I had an album where the cover featured a sort of Jesus Christ who was taking a massive dump, a deadly load of crap.

I'm totally on board with this... in my opinion, this is one of the few rock albums that truly deserves the word MASTERPIECE... a brilliant album that perfectly embodies what "rock" should be, in the broadest sense of the term... that is to say, something filthy, crooked, ragged...

I'm listening to it again right now. Of course, it would be better on vinyl than on CD... anyway, I prefer the Alien soundtrack just a bit more. But I'm not even that sure.

Chrome Cranks: Chrome Cranks

Noise/blues at its most rancid, garage-like, and fetid that one can remember. Fans of Clapton or, worse, Scott Henderson, should abstain, ahahahah..
Circle Jerks: Group Sex

No bullshit. Essential record. 14 hardcore punk blasts at breakneck speed in 15 minutes flat.
Circulatory System: Circulatory System

A project born from a branch of the great Olivia Tremor Control. 22 sketches of wonderful psychedelic and distorted pop abstractism.
Claw Hammer: Pablum

A twisted punk blues record that is as in tune with the alternative sound of the '90s as it is related to certain Beefheart-like absurdities.

Whenever I hear someone sing the praises of ELP, I can’t help but put on a record made up of 50% burps and 50% farts. Joking (?) aside, a cornerstone of the most gruesome, depraved, and toxic noise-blues. Ladies and gentlemen, the cows.

Cows: Daddy Has a Tail!
Vinile I have it ★★★★★
Shit, depravity, and chaos in power. The second job of the cows, the most rotten and true essence of Rn'R. Ugly, filthy, and high. Noise Rock at its dirtiest and most putrid, and therefore, the best.
Crystal Stilts: In Love With Oblivion
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Dischello cute cute, enjoyable enjoyable that seems to have come out about forty years ago, between Velvetian influences [on "Prometeus at Large" one almost expects to hear Reed's voice] and garage influences but all quite melodic and at times vaguely psychedelic. 3.5

it's not bad, just like the first one wasn't bad....I probably won't listen to another one of their works
