Fantastic! Beautiful, and that's it, there's nothing more to say. An album I'm very attached to. Never has singer-songwriter music reached such a high peak. It's impossible to outline masterpieces, they all are.

Nico's graduation album... the atmosphere is dark, funereal. Nico manages to create a symbiosis of instruments that she would only replicate in the subsequent "Desertshore." According to Cale, and Nico herself, it's her masterpiece.
