Beautiful. However, I would like to buy the one by the Red House Painters, but it's available used at outrageous prices... Why don't they reissue it, why?

  Yes, it’s probably slightly excessive, but not by much. It’s an album I adore to madness; Le Porte and especially Jim Morrison irritate me, but that’s a mega masterpiece.

  If you can't stand the Doors and Jim Morrison, how can you love their debut album that embodies the very essence of the musical project? You can't help but love the Doors if you cherish their first phantasmagorical, kaleidoscopic, therapeutic masterpiece. Along with "Strange Days," "The Doors" represents the Eden that the band brought to Earth. However, if you can't stand Jim Morrison and his entourage, it means you don't know how to interpret their historical period and their genius.

  I can't stand Jim Morrison as a person, and I honestly don't care about his genius. The first album is a masterpiece, but other than that, I couldn't care less.

Jim Morrison is a genius; I don't care about his private life if he created masterpieces like The Doors and Strange Days... Rock Bottom deserves to be at the top.
