  Carrion Crawler is a record, the best of the Oh Sees, also great is Mikal Cronin.

  Great tip, Psycho, about Mikal Cronin. Definitely one to watch, yes indeed! The first piece with that flute is insane, but the others are great too. I find the melodic freshness of the early ... Beatles, combined with an exceptional "punk" energy. It clearly reminds me of the punk era of the FL.

  I slightly prefer the thee oh sees, but both have been excellent recommendations; moreover, at this time, they really match the kind of sounds I was looking for.
