I'm not very familiar with the genre, but the ranking seems good to me. Just one thing, I see Jethro and Comus a bit limited here; the influences are clear but they're not exactly folk-rock. You've done well to place them not in the very top spots; I agree (only for this reason, because my tastes tell me that Comus and Tull eat Dylan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with all due respect to the latter).

Yes, in fact I don't like Bob Dylan either, but I admit he was great!

Undoubtedly, he was an important artist, and I don't dislike him at all—in fact, quite the opposite. However, I emphasized his inferiority compared to those two groups (for me), groups that you rightly placed lower than Bob since they are not purely folk.

Beautiful uncle, but how old are you to be making these arguments about Bob Dylan, 11???? The Tull eat what???? Come on, maybe in 20 years I’ll swing by again and the ranking will have improved, good night!

I would also add Cat Stevens. Tea for the Tillerman is a true masterpiece!

Hey Rock70! The Animals are amazing, but they’re not folk. I’d say they’re absolutely Blues-Rock. 100%! Ciauuuuu!

The first three positions are nearly perfect! But is it possible that nobody knows good old Jim Croce?

When I think of folk, the first things that come to my mind are "Astral Weeks" by Van Morrison, "Pink Moon" by Drake, and "Chelsea Girl" by Nico. We’re on the same page regarding Young, Jethro Tull don’t fit in much (or only partially), and I think it’s fair to mention Buckley, but not in that phase. I would have cited the first two, especially "Goodbye and Hello." Chao!
