I'll throw it out there: the Arcade Fire of "Neon Bible," the National of "Boxer," "Phylactory Factory" by White Hinterland (released maybe in 2008 though), the Radiohead of "In Rainbows," and "Mirrored" by Battles?

    I correct myself: "PhylactEry Factory"!

So, I placed the Battles there, and even in second position since Mirrored is an amazing album. "Neon Bible" I like quite a bit but I don't find it exceptional, "Boxer" doesn't say anything to me, "In Rainbows" unfortunately I still have to listen to it properly, but I will do so soon.

Aside from the Pax Cecilia, whom I don't know, they are all artists I appreciated back in 2007, starting with the stunning reunion album by the Dinosauri, to Battles and Iron & Wine (where I still hear the notes of "Boy With Coin" and "Resurrection Fern" echoing in my mind, which I listened to on repeat) and Eluvium's Copia. I would also add Vic Chesnutt with "North Star Deserter" and Alcest's Souvenirs, which I believe are among the best of 2007.

I had "north star deserter" on my list to listen to for quite a while, and you gave me the chance to fill that gap ;) anyway, I recommend everyone to give "The Western Lands" by Gravenhurst a listen, I've reassessed it quite a bit; in my opinion, it's a great album, very varied, ranging from simple indie to shoegaze to folk.
