    So beautiful beach house?

Yes, yes, they are back in great shape after a few weaker albums... beautifully dark!

Amen Dunes has good intentions but then gets lost; it's the singing that keeps it afloat.
Low is a beautiful album, definitely worth trying, but after a great first listen, it hasn't grown on me, I got stuck. Perhaps after a good loud start shouted to the four winds, I expected too much, and so I was left half with an empty stomach.
An album you would recommend without hesitation regardless of the genre? Because I see that fortunately, your tastes are not similar to mine.

I love Low, they could even make a cover album of Orietta Berti and it would still turn out to be a masterpiece hahahah! So they’re always at the top. This album is maybe one of the best they’ve ever made. Amen Dunes I like, it’s not stunning but I agree: the lyrics and the singing hold everything else up.

Look, in this list I recommend a bit of everything, especially the top five/six which I love the most so far. Anyway, it’s constantly being updated; as soon as I have some time, I’ll update it properly and add more stuff :))

Low deserves to be rewarded for their courage to change, but in terms of songwriting, some songs have a rather banal line; nonetheless, they are one of the most interesting things of the year. I don't have the means to express myself on their best performances. I try some of your choices at the top of the preferences.

Go with the Cloud Nothings. They just released their new album and I'm loving it like crazy.

I'm listening to Jon Hopkins, definitely worth exploring. Now I'm noting down Clouds Nothing. I tried Soft Moon; it strikes me as a kind of post-punk electro deeply rooted in the '80s, and it didn't really impress me at a first listen.

Jon Hopkins has made a fantastic record! Without a doubt, this is the best electronic album of the year. Go with Cloud Nothings and let me know then hehe!

J Hopkins is not the best electronic record (Limiting to electronic music that falls within his sound sphere) of the year; I’ve heard better things (so off the top of my head, I can't think of a name, I should pause, but I'm sure of what I’m stating). The Cloud Nothings, on the other hand, after overcoming that rough veneer that tends to conceal the not-so-easy melodies, I like. Throw me another title that’s far from my tastes but that you definitely find good.

As for electronics, I have to say that this year a lot of really wonderful stuff has come out. From the more "commercial" things like Monolink's new release and Joris Delacroix's latest (give them a try!) to the more experimental albums by Yves Tumor and Tim Hecker. I don’t agree on Jon Hopkins; for me, he’s the best :D

Far from your tastes, I highly recommend "Joy as an Act of Resistance" by Idles. It's a stunning punk album.

Yves Tumor is very beautiful, but I was disappointed by Tim Hecker. I’ll let Jon Hopkins rest and pick him up again; probably, like many times, I will change my mind. I’ll try Idles; I think there’s a review. Until next time.

Idles are not really my cup of tea, too cheerful. Instead, J Hopkins has improved, and so has Rivals Consoles, who didn't particularly impress me before.

Idles joyful? Well, not so much in the lyrics! True, Rival Consoles is really cool too.

Well! A lively punk rock? And anyway, it didn't attract me.

Oh, but Criminal by Soft Moon?
Knowing your tastes (similar to mine), it's strange you didn’t include it.

there are so many proposals that it's hard to keep up. I know the Soft Moon, just not this work. I’ll give it a quick listen. For now, thank you.

Hey there! Yes, Criminal by Soft Moon is one of my countless listens this year... this list is constantly being updated. I’ll add everything, I’ll re-listen to everything :)

I started listening to MGMT, very 80s, but not bad.

Yes, maybe their best album so far (which I've removed anyway because I only leave the top 20).

No, by Friedman who also produced their debut Oracular Spectacular. Sonic Boom has produced the Beach House album this year :)

This year I've listened to very few new albums, I'm catching up now. However, my favorite so far, mentioned earlier, isn't among them. I'm still trying to figure out if I really like the one from Low (first listen) or if I'm indifferent to it (second listen). I need to listen closely (finding the time) to the Deafheaven one and give Birds in Row a try.

Among the few that I've listened to, I really appreciated the one by Cloud Nothings, who don’t miss a beat this time either.
