  Fantastic site, a bit of a blessing and a curse. As I keep browsing, I'm increasing the number of great albums from this year that I haven't listened to yet. Perfume Genius, Counterparts, and Paramore are added to my already extensive list of things to listen to. The first three are nice.

    Regarding the Paramore album, don't get your hopes up too high; I think I'm one of the very few who actually appreciated it... I included it in my ranking to emphasize that an artist who has always delivered subpar music in the past can still surprise us.

    Thank you for the response. I have always seen them slaughtered, and seeing the top three spots on the chart with albums I appreciate made me curious about this. I've only listened to a couple of tracks (Niente Male).

  Recommendation: "A Crow Looked At Me" by Mount Eerie and "Il Numero Sette" by Fine Before You Came. The latest Converge is also coming out soon.
