Eddie Palmieri

Eddie Palmieri is an American pianist, bandleader, and composer celebrated for groundbreaking salsa and Latin jazz. Born in New York to Puerto Rican parents, he led the influential La Perfecta and fused jazz harmonies with Afro‑Cuban rhythms. A multiple Grammy Award winner, he is renowned for explosive piano montunos and adventurous arrangements.
