HELLOOOO BOYS AND GIRLS!!!
Today we are talking about an album that I love listening to very often, both for the great songs that put me in a good mood and for the excellent musicality expressed by the following tracks.
The band I am talking about is DURAN DURAN, a band that I think is underrated and known by many in the '80s only because the musicians were handsome, but I don't care a blessed ... about that side.
So let's look at the musical side, which I think is truly sublime: spectacular sounds, a fantastic bass, and the other instruments in line with it, and then, of course, a spectacular voice and very special, folks!!!
Uncle Simon puts a lot of effort into this work right from the start with the legendary THE REFLEX, which exudes fun from every holy pore aaaah!!! It continues with NEW MOON A MONDAY, equally beautiful, with a nice music video too.
The next two, (I'M LOOKING FOR) CRACKS IN THE PAVEMENT and I TAKE THE DICE, are in line with the first two, meaning fantastic, and we follow with OF CRIME AND PASSION and UNION OF THE SNAKE, which I consider speaking of the latter, the best song on the album with a great Indiana Jones-like video!!!
SHADOW ON YOUR SIDE is very exciting, and the following TIGER TIGER (instrumental) is quite professional. We close with the fantastic and relaxing THE SEVENTH STRANGER, which in my opinion is one of the best pieces by DD!!!
What can I say, great DURAN DURAN, with their unique and very old school musicality. For those who consider them musically lame, try to go beyond that and focus on their talent and professionalism, and I would say you won't regret it, I assure you, but of course, not everyone has the same tastes, and music wouldn't be as beautiful if that weren't the case!!!
YEAHHH GUYS!!!
ALEXANDRINO!
Last high-level work before being stunned by the deafening screams of the fans.
Shadows on Your Side reveals itself as a splendid song, catchy but without complacency.
"Seven people chasing success. It’s ambition."
"The Reflex... proving to be a true big hit, thanks also to the remix conceived and realized by Nile Rodgers."
