A very original proposal, reminiscent of neighbors Jennifer’s Gentle, or bands like the post “Time to pretend” MGMT (i.e., the escape from success), those ultra-psychedelic ones. Very original beyond the aforementioned two groups. Indeed, because Duck Baleno, a band not new to the scene but with a remarkable background, knows what they’re doing both in crafting songs, never predictable, always packed with breaking points, and in sound management. Particularly noteworthy is the choice to make the voice (always filtered in all tracks) sound like a true additional instrument. A great journey between rock (at times lethal, the almost stoner-scented heavy riffs that add a rock touch) and psychedelia. Not to be missed.
