THE REVIEW

Active since 2010, Drunken Corpse reached their first recording effort in 2013 with the self-produced Demo. Born in the - quite bourgeois - province of Siena, they present to the public a powerful musical proposal, a devastating mix of Hardcore Punk and Thrash sung in Italian.

Angry lyrics that take a look at everything rotten in modern society. The demo introduced by a very raw cover, featuring the D.R.I. man throwing up, consists of six tracks that are structured on catchy refrains, driving rhythm, and fast singing. "War Against The War" and "Bombe nel Deserto" fully mirror what I just wrote. A Thrash mixed with Punk that points the finger at the Church ("Prete") and another that goes all out on alcohol ("Tequila e Manate").

The influences obviously come from the cornerstones of the genre: Municipal Waste above all, but also Nuclear Assault and our own Negazione and Nerorgasmo. An excellent business card for these guys from Siena, whom you must see live. Remember this name: Drunken Corpse, you will not be disappointed.

Tracklist:

  1. War Against The War
  2. Bombe nel Deserto
  3. Tequila e Manate
  4. Haarp Attack
  5. Prete
  6. Shotgun
