Drowning Pool is an American rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, known publicly for the 2001 debut album Sinner and the single "Bodies". Their original lead singer Dave Williams died in 2002.

Reviews on DeBaser discuss two portrayals: a described 1986/1987 California/Los Angeles trance incarnation (albums titled Drowning Pool / "Bloody Boy LP" and the "Green Album", members named Andrew Crane, Adam Elesh, Jon Thomas, Brett Smith) and the well-known American nu-metal band whose album Sinner and singer Dave Williams (deceased 2002) are referenced in the reviews.

DeBaser hosts three reviews that discuss two very different portrayals of Drowning Pool: an '80s Californian/Los Angeles trance project (as described by reviewer Caspasian) and the American nu‑metal band Sinner (reviewed by CoolOras). Opinions range from highly appreciative to critical.
