THE REVIEW

Today you will fall in love.

Percussion and drums, funky riffs in full '70s style, and a calm - perhaps too calm - bluesy male voice introduce us to the world of Dope Lemon with Home Soon.

Angus Stone treats the surrounding instruments like clay; in this EP, the sounds navigate between sad tides and slight illusions.

Deserted beaches and silent nights amid the rustling of plants.

In Lover Left To Die, you will feel like you are meeting the old Mad Professor, who with a smile on his face, will guide you away from the bonfire.

After many years in marketing, the thirty-year-old Australian musician tackles his artistic career under various monikers (Lady of the sunshine and Angus & Julia Stone together with his older sister to bring around a dreamy folk).

Here, however, you will find a mix of sounds that would have been all the rage in the acidic decade X. The guitars recall an art/ambient style that covers the smoky surface created by the keyboards, but there is no other way to write about the style of Hounds Tooth than to dream and paint pictures in one's mind.

Probably one of the best and most interesting albums of the year, it is to be listened to, of course, with a mind free from pretensions and a favorable mental condition.
