THE REVIEW

D. Leopardo Industrial Music Co.

Mark Winter is the alter ego behind this project called D.L.I.M.C (his other projects include C.C.T.V., Liquids, The Coneheads, etc. etc.), Indiana is the home of this garage rock band, recognized in the underground web world as Egg-Punk or rather Devo-Core.
Devo is indeed Mark's major influence, though he likes to create instant classic (What's Your Dew Do Dude, the rock n' roll à-la Replacements of Fest Punk).
Tracks like Punk Rock Song, Take Me To The River seem to come straight from the early works of "Arielone" Pink and power pop.

Without spoiling too much, I'll tell you there are tracks like Mushroom On My Ass and I've Been Livin' In Macaulay Culkin Brain; isn't that enough for you?

The last 2 tracks are something between C86/Brit Pop in a terrifying spoken - little sung - word.
Go back and dig up everything from his projects, Kloo Consiglia.

Ah.. this compilation didn't actually come out, a great man compiled the 5 monthly singles and threw them on YouTube:
