Americans from Minneapolis (what an extraordinary city from a musical point of view!) where they formed in 1995.
Diablerie is their debut full-length: nine tracks for 27 minutes. Total noise and chaos.
Forget the over-the-top speed Hardcore of SOIA and Agnostic Front.
We're close to the exasperating slowness of Strife and especially Earth Crisis.
Spirals of murky slowness; a dark, slick, visceral sound that reaches abyssal depths.
They kick New York-style Hardcore in the face and catapult you towards Crowbar's Sludge.
(In)pure obsession listening to tracks like "Cascade"; but any other title I've chosen would have the same thing, the same disturbing effect.
