Discipline

Discipline are a progressive rock band from Detroit, active since the late 1980s and led by Matthew Parmenter. Their 1993 debut Push and Profit was followed by the acclaimed 1997 album Unfolded Like Staircase. The group's style is often compared to Van der Graaf Generator and Peter Hammill; Parmenter is noted as a multi-instrumentalist and theatrical vocalist.
