25 minutes and spare change of pure madness.

Experimentation pushed to the extreme, with songs that aren't songs, an album that isn't an album (indeed, it's an EP), and dEUS that aren't dEUS.

The first time I listened to it, I said to myself: this thing is a mixed bag of incomprehensible stuff; then I understood: if you're going to experiment, you have to start from the ground up. It's not enough to search for some technological sound; you need something different; revolutionize the writing method, the way you play, and so on.

Barman and company in this concept album (not surprisingly, there's only one track) have reinvented themselves, further complicating our ideas after Worst Case Scenario (which after a while almost became a normal album to listen to, yet beautiful).

There are pieces where the violin is supported by an electronic base, where the music repeats hypnotically, where guitar and piano accompany each other, providing a backdrop to the most disparate discussions.

Of course, it is not an easy album, given that it's practically impossible to say what kind of music is inside, yet it is undoubtedly a masterpiece; less harsh than Worst Case Scenario, but certainly more incomprehensible. There's no point in me telling you which are the best parts because you wouldn't be able to select them, given there's only one track; arm yourself with patience and listen to it in one go until you appreciate it.
