The latest album by Destruction, who, along with Sodom and Kreator, are the kings of German Thrash metal.
The album opens with "Soul Collector", which vaguely reminds of Slayer's "Hell Awaits"; it then continues with "The Defiance Will Remain" and reaches the song that makes the entire album worthwhile: "The Alliance Of Helloundz", in collaboration with an endless bunch of excellent singers including Paul Di Anno (ex Iron Maiden), Doro Pesch, Messiah Marcolin (Candlemass), Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir), Biff Byford (Saxon), Bjorn "Speed" (Soilwork), Peter Tagtren (Hypocrisy).
It is a magnificent album that thrills you from start to finish, containing a real gem, "The Alliance of Helloundz", considered by many "a true orgy of Smoking metal".
An excellent performance by Schmier and company, and we hope to hear from them every now and then.
The tradition of Destruction’s fucking old school thrash metal doesn’t disappoint expectations!
An excellent album that confirms the Destruction reunion is not a commercial phenomenon but a strong desire to play in the old-fashioned way, smashing skulls like the crazy butcher once did!!!
