It seems that Albin Julius with his Der Bluharsch And The Infinite Church Of The Leading Head enjoys endless inspiration. The Austrian musician has long transformed his creation, dedicating it to a liquid and tribal psychedelia soaked in Krautrock vibes. Listening to a Blutharsch record today means embarking on a journey through time and space that takes us directly to the late '60s when glorious bands like 13TH Floor Elevators, Seeds, Hawkwind, and Amon Duul II, often under the influence of psychotropic substances, unleashed their unbounded creativity, exploring uncharted territories and unknown dimensions with their music. Listening to albums like “Phallus Dei” by Amon Duul II, “The Psychedelic Sound of 13TH Floor Elevators,” and “In Search Of Space” by Hawkwind was and is a cathartic experience that makes the listener’s mind travel to unknown peaks.
