Guys, today I finally opened my eyes. There was still a part of Demetrio Stratos that was unknown to me, something inexplicable that hid in every listen of "Cantare la voce" or "Le milleuna". There were too many truly repetitive tracks, sometimes unnecessarily long.

THIS is the album that must be passed down to posterity, to let them know who the man who consecrated the voice as a "musical instrument" is. Everyone must know what he was capable of doing, how much he managed to extend his legendary vocal cords. THIS is an essential album (in every sense): it lasts only 33 minutes and when it's over, you wish it would continue a little longer. It's hard to find, but do everything possible to get it.

The first four tracks are "Segmenti", where Stratos uses some "effects", but nothing more than a glass of water and a cigarette paper. The whole album is absolutely VOCAL, in Demetrio's typical style. It is followed by "Mirologhi 1 (Lamento d'Epiro)", where the author makes the best use of the vocal effect that made him famous with the Area, and that has always given me chills: I had been looking for a track like this for a long time, so "cathartic"! The sixth track is the title track, 8 minutes and 55 seconds: in fact, here the gist is almost always the same, but I dare you to interrupt it: simply fantastic, a PERFECT diphony! The last track is the sequel to "Mirologhi (2, indeed)" and resumes the first part word for word, completing this unique work of its kind (and not only).

Although Stratos does not drive everyone crazy, the album in question is also a great opportunity from a scientific point of view… Who before him had done something similar? Who will ever manage to match this music giant?

I leave to you the amazement aroused by this great album, absolutely unmissable.
