Le Orme -Collage
Among the coolest and most dazzling debuts in Italian Rock. Title track and the consecutive triptych "Cemento Armato" - "Sguardo verso il Cielo" - "Evasione totale" mark the first and grandiose cries of Progressive Italico. more
Scorpions
If there were more bands like them, we would live in a better world, a world of great music!! IMMENSE!! more
Giacomo Leopardi
"...So they do not live until death, except for the many who remain children for their whole lives." more
The Stooges -The Stooges
A stunning initial triplet that knocks you to the ground made up of "1969", "I Wanna Be Your Dog", "We Will Fall", but the whole album is a punch in the face, one of the best debuts in rock history for the Detroit band, with the MC5 pure dynamite... more
Laura Nyro
Author, musician, excellent singer, with an elegant and refined style, capable of creating great albums like "New York Tendaberry," her recognized diamond tip, from 1969... more
Jethro Tull
How can you not appreciate them? Innovative and traditional, badass and elegant, prog and hard, blues and jazz. Widely underrated. more
Megadeth -Rust In Peace
Dave Mustaine had very clear ideas at the beginning of the nineties: to experiment with more dynamic, complex, and elaborate musical solutions. This way, the band created its masterpiece, thanks to a stellar lineup that supports the leader: Marty, David, and Nick are technically impeccable, providing a fast, tight, perfect sound. One of the absolute peaks of all Thrash Metal; they would never reach these levels again, beginning an endless decline in inspiration... HANGAR 18... more
Queens of the Stone Age
After the prodigious adventure of Kyuss, Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri embark on a new creation; a clean slate at least for the first three albums. Acid Rock, magnetic Psychedelia, and of course, Stoner "full blast" come together to create the explosive music offered... SONGS FOR THE DEAF... more
Mano Negra -Patchanka
Great stylistic variety. more
Paul Simon -Graceland
World music with a capital W. more
Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention
Simply extraordinary, "visionaries." Crazy and mentally out there, excellent musicians, spaced out, creative, unique in short... more
Randy California
An excellent guitarist, with a short life and a precocious and not particularly fortunate career, Randy Wolf "California" was one of Hendrix's best friends and one of the symbols of American psychedelic rock in the late '60s, unforgettable during the years of Spirit. He died a hero saving his son and left us too soon... more
Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds -Kicking Against The Pricks
Very beautiful, very "particular." I was quite struck by "Muddy Waters," a touching interpretation by Cave and excellent arrangements, "Long Black Veil," and "All Tomorrow's Parties" by the legendary Velvet. They may still be covers of great songs, but they are very carefully chosen and performed in a completely personal way, not just by Cave but by the whole band. Excellent. more
Love and Money
Adrian, you’re not wrong to say just this… James Grant's vocal timbre is absolutely impossible to define… you just have to listen to the track I love, and perhaps it’s the best on this album, and Avalance… you have to hear when he mentions it in the song Avalance… he says Avalan…ce, and it's this vocal musicality that drives me crazy. Kudos for choosing this group that perhaps deserves more recognition… Best regards. more
Le Orme -Felona E Sorona
Exalted album, among the top five prog-Italian records of all time. Exceptional. "Due rose gemelle non muoiono insieme." more
Roberta Flack
voice of rare elegance. more
The Jam -All Mod Cons
This album features some of the biggest hits by The Jam. more
Jethro Tull -This Was
"My Sunday Feeling" "Beggars Farm" "A Song for Jeffrey" "Serenade to a Cuckoo"... An exceptional debut that undoubtedly remains among their best albums. An original and highly personal Blues-Rock, dominated in many tracks by Anderson's flute, a decidedly atypical instrument in the Blues realm. After this album, it would no longer be Blues-Rock but only the fantastic hybrid that is the music of Jethro Tull. Excellent Abrahams on guitar, in his first and last work with the Tull. more
