Long psychedelic digressions, diluted and boundaryless space psych. A record to be savored in small doses; personally, I've never fully digested it. Very nice is the opener "Silver Bird." (7) more
Debut album for an unjustly underrated band in the hard rock scene of the seventies. However, it must be said that during that time in England there was quite a bit of competition. Nevertheless, it's an enjoyable record, with the pulsating bass of the extraordinary Pete Way taking center stage. "Boogie" and "Timothy" are worth the listen. (6.5) more

MAD - EXTREME - INHUMAN... Speed close to grind, or rather in their case cyber-grind, with a vocal and physical attitude of hardcore style; plus noise saturations that make the listening experience a terrifying TOUR DE FORCE... After all, CALCULATING INFINITY... more
The debut on the long distance for the English band; we are still far from the masterpieces to come, but the potential of the very young guys is already noticeable. On vocals, typically growl, we find Darren White again, and musically the lengthy tracks embrace sounds that move slowly towards a primitive Doom Metal; although there are also Gothic-Dark openings like in "Sleepless" that hint at the future developments of a sound always in constant evolution. more
It really gets on my nerves, but "Canzoni dell'Appartamento" is a nice album and it's a fact that he knows his music. Sure, if he started making serious music again instead of being a hysterical intellectual on X-Factor it would be better… more

There were times when already disbanded bands greeted showbiz by releasing masterpieces: Proto-Prog flags of the Vertigo school, they fell into that sonorous chessboard where King Crimson and Caravan used to reflect themselves from their ivory towers. The Supernova suite is still "gracefully" visible, lost in the most creative galaxies of Rock. more

Politically incorrect and fundamentally unlistenable, what more could you want? more
The album opens with the applause of the few people present on that distant night twenty years ago in Seattle; then Grant arrives and the soft guitar notes of "Ballad No. 19" begin, with that initially subdued voice rising to dramatic intensity. And this heavy tension, both nervous and musical, will be felt throughout the brief duration of the concert until the conclusion that returns to us an author finally free, proud, ready once again to start anew...2541... more
