Ridley Scott
Alien, Gladiator, No Truth... these three are enough for a full 5!!! more
Amon Düül II -Yeti
Here, this is the classic example of "love at first listen." Inside, you'll find everything: acid guitars, improvisation, creativity, imagination, expressive freedom. I think that between this and the previous Phallus Dei, there's quite a nice battle... more
Two Hundred Motels (colonna sonora) -Frank Zappa
two hundred motels (soundtrack): Frank Zappa
Definition: “I bought this double CD blindly on the advice of a friend I trust. Now I understand it's a soundtrack, and there are many (too many) moments where they talk or joke around, but I find this record simply unbearable, so much so that I will either give it away or throw it in the trash. A real piece of crap. Does anyone have it and maybe even likes it?” more

Amedeo Minghi
Michael Douglas VS Kirk Douglas VS Viggo Mortensen = Minghio. more
Gong -Camembert Electrique
An eternal young boy. more
Roger Waters
A genius in his own way, quite unpleasant, psychologically unstable, phobic, paranoid, etc... (who suffers from halitosis, as everyone in the music scene knows, nothing new... I don't think the others are joking around either...). The concept of "The Wall" remains his highest peak, which was, after all, a sort of anticipated farewell... I’m sorry to say that I have always preferred Gilmour for his personality and technique... (different roles at the time, the mind remained sir. bad breath). Great. more
Amedeo Minghi
Memorable for the rather ambiguous and trashy haircut with which he "performed" in his cheesy low-grade pop yelps. One of the many "new monsters" of the old Italy... more
Amedeo Minghi
"1950", "The Memories of the Heart", "About Me" the best of his production. My favorite? "Something About Her." Rating 2.7. more
Quentin Tarantino
Being loyal is very important. So, now you go outside and say: "Good night, I had a wonderful evening." You close the door, get in the car, go home, have a wank, and that's the end of the story. more
Aerosmith
Nothing special, the usual pre-packaged '70s hard rock crap and quite annoying... a few good tracks in the very early works, zero originality, desire to create, sound exploration... some live performances are truly embarrassing... more
CCCP Fedeli alla linea
Indispensable, Ferretti's turning point was a great disappointment... perhaps one of the biggest musical disappointments I have ever witnessed. more
Nirvana
Something good can be found in the first two albums and in the CD "In Utero," including the slow and "painful" (apparently) All Apologies... live, whether it's the so-called grunge attitude or the mythologization of Cobain, some evident limits have been concealed (taking away the Unplugged, they really become unlistenable at certain concerts). Returning to the mythologization, we might be talking about one of the most overused projects by teenagers all over the world... more
Premiata Forneria Marconi
Genius, nothing more to add. more
Ahvak -Ahvak
One of the best prog albums of this millennium. Complex, technically flawless, filled with tension and drama. A product of the American and Belgian RIO school. more
Isis -Celestial
The first whimper of the sludge monster Isis. It’s an album that already contains everything stylistically that the band will carry forward into the future. However, it still lacks that eclecticism they will find later on, just as the classic post-rock openings are less convincing than they will become. That said, it’s still a debut that, despite its apparent confusion, already has the distinctive traits of Isis. "Gentle Time" is a standout track. (7) more
Thin Lizzy -Thunder and Lightning
The end of the Lizzy era, the last album before Lynott's death three years later. It’s a rockier work than the two previous ones, clearly nodding to the heavy new wave of the early eighties. For my tastes, their best since the distant days of "Jailbreak." (7.5/8) more
Thin Lizzy -Renegade
In the second part of their career, for me this is their least successful work. I gave them several chances, but it never impressed me. (5.5) more
Thin Lizzy -Chinatown
Same goes for the previous album. Rock energy and songwriting have faded. (6) more
Thin Lizzy -Black Rose: A Rock Legend
I’ve never been able to fully digest this one. It doesn’t engage me, even though it’s still the usual work of mastery and class. It lacks a bit of compositional verve. To me, it's a sort of “unfinished” album, even if the title track is a great piece. (6.5) more
