The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion is an American trio from New York City formed in 1991 by Jon Spencer (ex-Pussy Galore) with Judah Bauer (guitar) and Russell Simins (drums). Known for a two-guitars-and-drums setup with no bassist, they fuse blues with garage, punk, and rockabilly, delivering high-energy shows.
