PBR. Overweight and weary musical semantics, low-fi electro-junk, unexpected guitars, metallic ethno-digital drummings, bass lines placed differently. POLARBEAR is an introverted beast. Alaska is not a matter of weather-territoriality but a disposition of the soul. Human gels. Livid roads and out of bounds. No technicolor L.A. dreams but raw portraits of urban din. Industrial and dazed sound. Postcards from Taipei, deformed suburbia and altered visions from nothing. Something of Nothing. more
The complete works in a 3CD box set by the peculiar RAOTIJ, creators between '87 and '95 of a remarkable synthesis of Dead Can Dance, Art Zoyd, Death In June, and Orthodox sacred music. To be cherished. more
Not only Jean Caude, but also Dr. House, Gurzo, Carla Fendi, Patatini, and Irina Skassalkatsaja... I mean, how can you give them less than 5? more
Nice album, which benefits especially from the presence of that masterpiece "Firenze," but it loses a bit due to a production that isn't quite up to par (despite the involvement of a musician like Giovanni Tommaso), who perhaps tends to overshadow the "live in studio" spontaneity of the Abruzzese guitarist. Still a very good album nonetheless. more
I love Alter Bridge too much, so my judgment on the album can only be positive... The best one from the band to date... The title track is worth entire discographies; it may sound like an exaggeration, but that’s how I feel... Myles has a unique, inimitable voice... He could make even a Pupo song beautiful with that incredible vocal talent... more

Stunning, everything I had to say about Renbourn's solo debut I've already said in the dedicated review, but really, it's an excellent and seminal album. more
This record is terrifying from the Deep Purple.... It contains what is probably the most famous Rock song of all time (at least the riff is the most famous), but for me it’s not the most beautiful song that the Deep have written (I’m obviously talking about Smoke), and even less is it the most beautiful on the album.... Highway Star and Pictures Of Home are tracks that never get boring!! more

An essential monument ("Astral Weeks"), two masterpieces ("Veedon Fleece" and "Moondance"), and numerous excellent albums ("Saint Dominic's Preview," "Into The Music," "No Guru, No Method, No Teacher," "Common One," "Inarticulate Speech Of the Heart," "Hymns To The Silence," etc.) for one of the best singer-songwriters of our time. A great artist who truly deserves to be remembered for generations and generations. more
