avenged sevenfold -nightmare
5 because the last beautiful album by A7X is quite complete, while the successor once again testifies to how essential The Rev was for the band. more
Evile -Enter The Grave
Yeah, it's a revival like many out there, but I don't know why songs like "Armoured Assault" or "Thrasher" make me snap my neck every time. more
Claudio Bisio
the more time goes by, the less I can stand it. it’s everywhere and it’s quite mediocre both as a comedian and as an actor (??) leftist hypocrite stupid face die badly more
Valerio Scanu
I’ve also seen it live, immense. more
Linkin Park -Hybrid Theory
As a kid, I loved "Linkin Park"... Whole afternoons spent listening to their "music"... Growing up, I broadened my musical tastes, and as a result, I stopped paying attention to the Linkin much at all... Their debut album (which maybe 7/8 years ago I considered a masterpiece) is a decent record. Not denying my past, I give the album three stars... I haven't listened to this record in at least 5 years, and I probably won't ever listen to it again, but it’s definitely a part of my life. more
Franco Battiato
Dear Franco, this time you really messed up, damn it... you need to be more careful when you dance! Please, "take care of yourself." more
Sepultura -Schizophrenia
Thanks to my little fairy! (1/4/2015) more
Autechre -Tri Repetae++
Pure magic. Five stars aren't even enough... more
FRANCESCO DE GREGORI -Canzoni d'amore
A musically and textually perfect album, the absolute maturity for a Prince with over twenty years of activity behind him. From the poetry of "Bellamore" to the neo-Nazi threats of "Rumore di Niente," passing through Bologna and its orchestral musicians, the Spider-Man of Craxiana memory and the disillusioned professions of solitude in "Povero me" ("Cammino da sempre sui pezzi di vetro"), a cornerstone of his discography and Italian music. And beware of the title. more
Renato Zero
Transgressive in the seventies, poetic and reflective afterwards. All definitely commendable, although his persistent self-congratulatory streak has become somewhat tiresome for me... more
Judas Priest
Iron Maiden are my favorite heavy band. So, if I were asked: "Who do you think are the number one in traditional metal?" I wouldn't hesitate to reply: "Judas Priest!" more
Paul Weller -Wild Wood
The album that a solo Clapton didn’t even come close to achieving. more
I Monster
Variety, flair, creativity, and a strong easy listening attitude, basically a big group. I wonder why they haven’t become as famous as they deserve. more
Black Sabbath -Paranoid
The riff of "Iron Man" is something insane; it should be considered a part of humanity's heritage... And then the title track, "War Pigs," etc... in one word, "HISTORY"... more
Už Jsme Doma
True deities of the Czech underground. Not knowing them means only one thing: being Italian! more
Dimmu Borgir
The theme song of Doraemon is much more black metal than Enthrone Nuclear Blast Triunphant. more
Marduk
"Those of the Unlight" is not bad at all. more
Claudio Lolli -Aspettando Godot
One of the most shocking debuts in Italian music. A heavy, challenging, difficult record because it is completely immersed in the darkest pessimism with no way out, and at the center are the lyrics, lyrics, and more lyrics. The arrangement is sparse and purely supportive but perfectly centered; violins, cellos, and flutes provide that right touch every now and then while Lolli, accompanied by a very simple acoustic guitar, pulls us into his black hole. A raw, disconcerting album, one of the most pessimistic ever heard in Italy. more
