the love of my life <3 more
Stunning album, strongly influential and a true cornerstone of emerging Heavy Metal. More than Metal, however, I would still speak of heavy and dark Blues, characterized by that black and occult vein that will be their real trademark. The title track, "The Wizard," "N.I.B," and the concluding "The Warning" are my preferred tracks, but nothing from these Sabbaths goes to waste. Masterpiece. more
The fathers of Folk Rock: guitars, exquisite vocal harmonies, and a sound that oozes the '70s from every pore....!! Peace 'n love more
Those who cite them as an example of a Progressive Rock group either don't know them or don't know Progressive Rock... more
The Big Bang of pop and rock music as we know it today. And often someone forgets about it. more
I rate the work done with Van Morrison in the lineup. Well, everyone knows that we are the band that launched this extraordinary artist, but it's nice to note that in Them, when Van was there, Peter Bardens also played the keys. I wonder what brand of cigarettes Morrison smokes... more
With two amazing albums behind them, the fantastic Roman quintet surpasses themselves once again in this third magnificent work: fluid and expansive Jazz-Fusion, filled with ethereal and dreamy atmospheres, enriched by the splendid use of the synth (see the title track). An album of true maturity, now completely devoid of the Rock influences of their early days. 8.5. more
He died just today... all sorts of things are happening, but this news makes me feel even more desolate. more
Verdena could no longer turn back. "Wow" is an album that reveals and exposes them, captivating without ever getting boring. The perfect calling card for the band that has dared more than any other. A complete victory. more
A great singer, the genre he performs may be liked or disliked, but he is beyond discussion. more
Incredible. The opener is not just hard prog, but at times reveals even a proto-epic metal spirit! The same goes for "The Trees," which also contains some unplugged-style fantasy passages! Not to mention the excellent and rocking "Circumstances" and a final suite that showcases the band’s prog side. In short, an album that, like Rising by Rainbow, could have inspired multiple musical genres. more
Heard online. So catchy that by the second listen it could already shatter the soul. more
"The Jester Race" is an undisputed masterpiece. Great albums up until "Reroute To Remain", then they shifted towards a much less complex and more easy listening alternative metal. The only thing to criticize them for, aside from the stylistic change—which is their choice—are the patterns that have been practically the same for 20 years, with the two guitars repeating at intervals of thirds. But they remain great for what they did in the '90s. more
In their genre, they are good, definitely better than Nightwish. more
Tell me if I'm not the shit of the shit. more
I like them, even though they're nothing special. What drives me crazy is that they are often compared to genuine crap like Bullet For My Valentine or Black Veil Brides. more
The Neubauten of the '60s. Extreme flower power more
Shut up, little girl. You call these animals "brothers"? Would you like to have black balls like them? They don’t want you as a brother, and they’re right. Now go take your Irish backside home. more
'Suspect Device' and 'State of Emergency' hit you like a one-two punch, the first taste of a breathless ride leading up to one of the covers (Johnny Was) that turned out immensely better than the original (not that it took much in this case), with a ton of other stuff before and after. more
Every now and then it's fine, come on... Then with Into The Wild Life they showed they can be a bit less monotonous. They still remain a relatively new band. more
