Well, come on, even Garfunkel. more
Filled with refined new pop arrangements, this album further completes the thematic turn initiated with the previous one: "Bisanzio," "Venezia," and "Bologna" are three beautifully perfect tracks, worthy of the best Guccini. The others are slightly less so, but still remain good pieces (like "Lager," beautiful and raw as a boulder, for example). 7.5-8. more
How the hell can you say these guys are better than the Ramones? more
In a famous magazine, I happened to read: "Tiziano puts the stadium to the test." In other words, Burzum is outclassed... more
Aside from the anthem of the title track, which has long been delivered to artistic immortality, the rest of the tracklist features a series of good songs, but still immature compared to what the band will express with the masterpieces of the nineties. For the connoisseurs. more

In a stunning shift from rock to pop, he manages to persuade much of the more hardline audience. A nighttime, refined, intimate album that introduces us to a singer-songwriter still in great form and capable of effectively experimenting with new sounds. more
The most direct of the band. The opener is pure adrenaline, immediately tempered by the dark and rhythmic progression of "Chaos Descends." From there, a series of epic metal transpositions of great class and measured power unfolds. Special mention goes to the title track and "Nadsokor," one of the most captivating and ecstatic anthems to epic metal ever conceived by the human mind. more
Pillar of support, with its incendiary Ultra-Hard & Heavy-Stoner guitar riffs, by Arch Enemy and Spiritual Beggars. But it scores the highest for having played on "Necroticism - Descanting The Insalubrious" and "Heartwork" by CARCASS...DEATH CERTIFICATE... more
How much this album smells of America. The sunny and airy arrangements and the less introspective and existential lyrics inaugurate a new phase in the career of the Master of Pàvana. Title track, Pennsylvania, and especially "Eskimo" are the best of the bunch. In short, much more West than Via Emilia from now on. Excellent. 7.5-8. more

Technical and monolithic, this album showcases the powerful clash between Shelton's guitar and Foxe's drums, the stars of an epic of endless solos and virtuosic displays. Furious rhythms and heavy tempos blend into a single ecstatic sonic product, predominantly based on Poe's writings. Breath is only found in the title track and the concluding "Dragon Star," a dreamy night-time poem centered on the figure of Alexander the Great. more
Those who know Vecchioni from the 70s, that is, his songwriting suspended between folk and rock, will have a nice surprise: a pop with a soft atmosphere, over which the (always magnificent) lyrics of this work unfold, which in addition to the famous "Alessandro e il mare" and the title track, offers a triptych of intense romanticism with "Certezze," "Parlami d'amore Mariù," and "Leonard Cohen." It's a pity only for the last two pieces, lacking the same inspiration. more
