Certainly, in '91 they were not the Metallica we know, and let's not forget that starting from '89, there was a significant decline in quality for ALL of metal that lasted 15-16 years. However, Gn'R never lacked for women, and perhaps that is the only thing that matters in certain ruthless environments (like the music industry, for instance).
