Fiorella Mannoia
I recently saw her again on Rai 2; she occasionally pops up to give interviews where she praises the qualities of her texts, a supposed philosophizing spirit, exalts spirituality, and bombards us with the usual feminist-sympathizing leftist requiems that have ruined our prostate because we rebellious, intelligent, and profound women are worth it... For heaven's sake... more
Anna Tatangelo
I would have happily seen her in a scene like this Ingrandisci questa immagine so many poor souls enslaved to the point of daily exhaustion and psychological and physical wear for nothing, when we could have sacrificed these characters. more
Biagio Antonacci
If we were in 1915, this festival singer of sausages, or even worse, from a Neapolitan district, would have been committed for life—cacophony, deafening noise, horror, shit pouring out of the sewage pipes and flooding the city. A pumped-up, tacky ex-fake rocker with long hair who for 30 years has been destroying our testicles with syrupy, laxative pop crap for hairdressers. more
Riccardo Cocciante
When you see him (and hear him... oh my god..) it's like opening the compost bin on a mid-August afternoon. The putridness personified, atrocious. more
Christian De Sica
Son of a milestone and cornerstone of our cinema (when we had a truly divine Italian cinema) that this petty bourgeois, farting bean-lover, and sexually ambiguous figure has helped ruin with a heap of anthology-worthy films of the worst kind, filled with sketches on the edge of the horrible, jokes centered around shit, farts, stinking food, screwings, Roman jokes from cherry festivals, and other abnormally absurd and intellectually unacceptable nonsense. more

In 6th place on the list of the greatest rock bands of all time, as defined by Mr. Piero Scaruffi Best rock bands of All Times this is obviously more than enough to define them. more
The Electric Prunes -Stockholm 67
Unmissable live album by the Electric Prunes recorded in Stockholm, Sweden, on December 14, 1967. Some versions of the tracks are practically unforgettable and maybe even superior to their original studio recordings. I especially want to highlight a stunning version of 'Try Me On for Size,’ while the one for 'Smokestack Lighting' perhaps provides the perfect sense, the definitive expression, the right definition of what it means to blend garage and psychedelia. Not that it was necessary, but this 'historical' document is essential to convey the greatness of this band. more
Ba Cissoko -Djeli
Latest album from Guinean Ba Cissoko and his band boasts a sound that is quite typical and characteristic, to the point of being described as that type of sound where Africa meets Jimi Hendrix. This is particularly true for their use of the kora, a traditional lute from West Africa, which they utilize extensively. Overall, it’s an interesting and highly listenable album; some tracks even possess what I might call an irresistible groove ('C'est pas facile'), but after a couple of listens, everything felt monochord to me and the magic faded away. Perhaps it’s too 'technical' for my tastes, where ethnic becomes, in some way, something closed that goes around in circles. more
Chris Cornell -Higher Truth
In the end, 'Higher Truth,' Chris Cornell's latest album, is a record that I would define as professional. Having found himself in an acoustic dimension, where he delivered his best performances outside of his historical project, Soundgarden, he releases an album that displays a certain maturity in terms of awareness as a songwriter, which I believe is lacking in other former grunge artists (including Eddie Vedder himself, who has been overly celebrated for the soundtrack to 'Into the Wild'). The fact remains that it is not an unforgettable album, but perhaps that would have been asking too much. Old fans are sure to enjoy it. more
Jerry Joseph -By The Time Your Rocket Gets To Mars
Album written by songwriter Jerry Joseph after a trip to Afghanistan where he volunteered as a music teacher, while also trying to connect in some way with the country's underground music scene. It's not a bad album, but it's too academic, repeating typical clichés of American folk music and lacking in particular inventiveness; it doesn't leave any notable impressions or feelings for the listener to remember. more
Adam Salky -I Smile Back
Great performance by Sarah Silverman, the famous American comedic actress, who here excels for the first time in a dramatic role (I suggest reading her interviews regarding her acting, which demonstrate a particular sensitivity). The film tells the story of a woman who leads a life like everyone else's, seemingly, but is actually deeply suffering from depression and, amidst drug and medication abuse, never manages to find balance for herself and her family life. There is no real ending to the story. As it should be. A film that seems to tell an extreme story, but instead conveys what is an ordinariness buried under shame and misplaced guilt. more

Brian Wilson
A completely out-of-his-mind character, extraordinary in his psychopathy, I will always remember the episode when he had a room filled with sand because, in a mad mental calculation, putting his feet under the sand while composing his piano pieces would inspire him—a true freak of nature. more
Demis Roussos
The greatest singer in the history of the universe and the '70s, despite the memory of outfits and a look that is nothing short of embarrassing, Basil Brush and Demis Roussos Demis Roussos - Interview in Finland, 1974.
