For years, I had no doubts about assigning them the answer to the age-old question: "Beatles or Rolling?"
Then, listening, reading, and informing myself, I came to understand that for global importance, at least for me, the cockroaches prevail. Because they revolutionized music. But the Stones are just a few decimals behind, also for other merits. Not least their consistency and longevity. Besides their unmistakable style, a sort of trademark. It’s an overall judgment and surely biased. However, if you ask me even today which songs I like the most, or even which albums... The Stones prevail by more than a few decimals. ;) Out of 5, I give them a 4.5.
