Not a masterpiece, but the band is still in great shape. The formula remains the same, but there is more room for others when it comes to songwriting; sometimes the tracks aren’t that great, but other times they definitely are (especially a discovery with Ament). Legendary songs like "Can't Keep," "Save You," "1/2 Full," and "All Or None" are still featured. It's true that nothing from Pearl Jam goes to waste. more

A fundamental group for having invented progressive metal and practically untouchable, as listening to the early albums of Fates Warning, Queensrÿche, and Symphony X makes it clear that while they are great records, they have nothing to do with the sound of DT's debut album. As for the story that they are a "technical but emotionless" band, just listen to "A Change of Seasons" to change your mind. For me, everyone can think what they want, but before writing random things, at least listen to "Images and Words," "Awake," "A Change of Seasons," "Metropolis Pt. 2," and "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence." more

I'm sorry to see him ballooning more and more with that big belly and a face that now looks like a loaf of bread. He has aged in an indecently dramatic way, consistent with his lifestyle and his obsession with food and alcohol (there are those who saw him live in the 70s and 80s and attest to the fact that he smelled at obscene levels, along with flatulence and wine breath, which fit right in that sinister-leftist environment of Italy back then). He is certainly a character worth rediscovering; he wrote great pieces and was a symbol for those who called themselves Leninists, Communists, etc. more
Devastated by the press and by rumors that labeled her as a jinx, a bit like Masini.
Great artist destroyed by the mediocrity of the average Italian's thinking. more
She was a beautiful woman and had a pleasant voice; ever since what we know happened to her sister, there has been an unrelenting psychophysical decline into total trash, truly dramatic. more
