Psychedelic Rock Band more
One of the many wonderful albums by the Beatles.
Please Please Me is the most famous debut album in the world (alongside the one by the Doors).
Who doesn't appreciate John's voice and George and Paul's harmonies in Twist And Shout?
Or the counting One, Two, Three...Five in I Saw Her Standing There; or even John's blues harmonica in Love Me Do (their first single); or the melancholic Misery. more
Melodies heard and re-heard, you might as well go listen to Pet Sound Beatles and Byrds. more
How it feels to miss Chamberlain more
No Morrison, no party!.....and thank goodness they figured it out after this mess! more
A truly astonishing pile of crap. Dance, electronic mixed with the delusion of omnipotence of a band that has become unsettling. The album could even be rated a 2, but the shit smelled strong. more
Fascinated by Mike Oldfield's piece, I was literally enchanted by this performance that I discovered only a few months ago. Even though it is played with three guitars and a bass, it manages to capture, in my opinion, the enveloping atmosphere of the original track quite well. I don't know the performers (I'm not a music expert, just a simple listener), but for me, they deserve a nice PLACET, even if it's not a full one. Because the original remains the original. I know it's a flawed reasoning (judging the work in itself, without other references), but for me, Tubular Bells will always be Mike Oldfield, and that’s that. more
great album for me, beautiful guitar by Mike Pinera. Last gasp of the band. more
cover pulled off, amateur garage rock, dull little songs... well, I stopped following it! more
Well done, Linda, with almost rocking atmospheres, a delightful album! more
I really don’t understand how it’s possible that these great blues-acid-psychedelic artists are so little remembered... Come on, it can’t be that no one remembers John Cipollina and Dino Valenti... more
It's time to realize that someone like this goes on television in Italy to pass judgment on young singers... But for God's sake, have you looked at and listened to yourself??? more
For the series "when I hit rock bottom... I start digging again." Pure shit! more
Tell the everyday story through the eyes of those who live it and want to uncover what lies behind. more
The bourgeoisie of the indie-wave cauldron in which they are conventionally placed, where they are also the top of the class. Berninger, the cool Christ and baritone with total expressiveness, twilight and noir atmospheres that are never submissive, exquisite instrumental alchemies. Boxer and High Violet are enough for a 5. more
I don't look East, and I don't look West/I can't understand their Accent!..VAN ZANDT ANTHEM more
it's not my genre, but I admit the cleverness of this album, which breaks the mold with every listen through shifts in rhythm, melodies, and ethnic fragments. fun! more
bundles of cash and fame, but also the end of a band's ambitions that has run out of steam. all that remains for us is a wonderful title track and little else. more
very sad performance by a great keyboardist! more
One of my all-time favorite albums. Very Bowie but so much more! more
