Fabrizio De André -In Direzione Ostinata e Contraria
One of the best box sets created to celebrate the Him of Italian singer-songwriter poetry. more
Fabrizio De André -In direzione ostinata e contraria 2
One should not allow this collection to be lowered to the rank of "Greatest Hits." more
Enrico Ruggeri -La giostra della memoria
The best of the best of the New Italian Wave… and a few radio-Italianized songs. more
Eugenio Finardi -Dal Blu
And to end sweetly...
(But do you really like Finardi's "Ammisss iu dunait"?) more
Eugenio Finardi -Diesel
The most kickass and "angry" fusion work that Italy's singer-songwriter scene could wish for. more
Dire Straits -Love Over Gold
Fortune favors the bold! more
Dire Straits -Making Movies
That romantic, warm one, with the red cover… A work of rare class and sophistication. more
Premiata Forneria Marconi -Storia Di Un Minuto
Exciting, intense, expressive, and original in its sounds, while remaining a complex work, it stands as an exceptional starting point for anyone looking to study the best of PFM that has ever existed. more
Dire Straits -Brothers in arms
The last great album by Knopfler & Company more
Candlemass
The first singer, Johan Langquist, returns to the band! I especially appreciate the first two albums. Magnificent. more
Iron Maiden
From the first to "Powerslave"... immense albums! I've never really liked "Somewhere...", but they regained a lot of points with "Seventh Son...". In the '90s, there were several flashy releases, but in 2000, the modest "Brave New World" proved they still had it in them. For me, they are essential, despite the slight disappointments. Another consideration: Dickinson is a great singer, but Di'Anno remains the top! more
Lucio Battisti
For me, better than Dylan more
Morrissey
One of the most beautiful and emotional voices in all of rock (personal opinion, just to be clear). more
Trevor Rabin
Technique at the service of emotion, ah! and heart Yes more
Creedence Clearwater Revival -Creedence Clearwater Revival
It's easy to judge Creedence's albums. The perfect record (n.1) (Although perhaps just a tad "less perfect" than the next 5, but are we really going to nitpick with these guys?) more
Lùnapop -…squerèz?
I don't know, it has a certain nostalgic quality; that's why I'll never truly be able to hate Cremonini and his friends scattered who knows where. Years later, it still remains a nice album, no doubt. more
Kanye West -Graduation
two words: Flashing Lights.
A unique rap album, I’ve even reevaluated it over the years. more
Lacuna Coil
Me, in the PrePandemicPeriod: It's quite ridiculous to see a bi-trio with a name that (in itself) echoes two Renault model names (lacuna--->laguna, coil--->clio). The singer, with her sad surname, is also a fan of Madonna alas, a fact I learned through friends (thankfully not from Maria-ndr).
Still me, late 2022: now I notice they have been repositioned in the underground, and they evoke a sense of overall maturity acquired, aside from the amusement the singles bring me (the latter must still PLEASE EVERYONE). more
Roger Cicero
The good Romanian singer-songwriter song, which transcends the various Count Vlad and Dragostea tin Dei, and the breasts of Badescu. more
Fiorello
Too many (beautiful) memories! more
