Marilyn Manson
Once someone, today (for now) no one. This project owes a lot to Trentino. more
Mike Oldfield
top-class music, there's little to be done. more

Vasco Rossi
good until "bollicine," from there on emptiness. My rating obviously reflects what I think of the artist based on their earlier albums. more

Franco Battiato
Don't listen to Neu!2. Battiato: a figure who wrote some of the most beautiful pages in music, even though he sometimes fell into avoidable experiments. more
Renato Zero

Renato Zero
20 years of stirring the same molasses flavored with mellifluous orchestrations that were old to begin with. Goodness and rhetoric of a postcard Rome that no longer exists... more
Dream Theater
If you're looking for just the technique in music, you might enjoy them. Remove this superfluous feature, and if instead you're looking for feeling, composition, inventiveness, etc., stay away. A poor copy of Queensryche, even in their highly praised early albums. It's surprising that Petrucci, perhaps free from creative constraints, has produced one of the best solo guitar albums ever (suspended animation). more
Renato Zero
Good, brave, sensitive, emotional, ex kitsch glitter sequins-plastic, in some cases even magical. Melodic doriforo of his and others' diversity has made a remarkable contribution until a few years ago. Now, unfortunately, he has become too involved in easy commerce and thus in subpar products. more
Renato Zero
Courageously "different" in being truly original. Complex musical influences, evident iconic affinities (L. Reed, D. Bowie), prestigious collaborations (Morricone, P. Palmer, Mark Harris, S. Elliott). Between singer-songwriters and glam-pop, recitals and rock, an ironic narrator of truths captured in sign. Suspended between provincialism and the absolute. Author of gems ("Zerofobia," "Artide Antartide"), he finally fell into the error of taking himself too seriously, leading to the worst messianic rhetoric: Zerovox?. more
