I have to say it, he played with me. I thought he was inaudible, unmusical. Quite the opposite; with careful and unbiased listening, he revealed himself in all his genius and that of the magic band. An immense artist and Trout Mask Replica is simply brilliant; let's not forget, however, a more conventional album that is certainly just as successful, if not superior: Safe as Milk. more
