An ambitious project by the good Michael Cretu that has brought him various international successes, MCMXC a.D is an excellent Ambient album that stands among the cornerstones, repeatedly revisiting the central theme of Sadeness (a great track for the dirty deeds, lads) and stretching it out to Rivers of Belief. From "The Cross of Changes" onward, the project has lost some of its initial depth, although it still features excellent tracks like Return of Innocence and Eyes of Truth. more
